Week-end in Arizona: Meteor crater, Painted desert and Petrified forest


The meteor Crater

Painted Desert: the indian called this landscape bad lands... just beautifiul!


I almost wasn't able to read the information and had to back off quickly... these birds are really like to keep there territory clear!


Petrified Forest National Park



Logs caught in the stream bed sediment and dug for millions of years. Eventually, the vegetal cells got crystallised and and the logs gain the surface again while erosion process occur.
